Nick + Alicia Engaged

“We were on vacation after we just drove across the country together to attend a 4 day music festival called Electric Forest. It’s literally in the forest and so magical. It was the last day and we were in the front row waiting for my absolute favorite band to perform when he got on his knee and proposed. Ugh! All the feels!” Says Alicia.

What a beautiful way for a proposal to occur, don’t you think?!  I just love engagement sessions.  They always allow me the opportunity to connect with my couples and get to know them in a deeper level.  I love asking questions about how they met and what made them realize they were the one for one another.  Here’s a little bit of Nick and Alicia’s story!

Nick and Alicia met at the Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital where they were both working at at the time.  They were both in relationships prior to one another and coincidentally became single at the same time. They naturally started to form a bond and went on one date together and completely hit it off.  They only dated a little over a month before officially becoming boyfriend and girlfriend and four years later….they’re engaged!

When I asked Nick what he loves about Alicia, he said “she’s the total package!”  When I asked Alicia what she loves about Nick she said “He is very intelligent, very outgoing, tall and loves animals!”  Looks to me like the perfect match indeed!

We are completely looking forward to their wedding day in November 2017.  They will say I do in the beautiful venue of The Randall House in Bakersfield CA.  They hope that their wedding day would have a very carefree atmosphere because they truly just want to enjoy every moment of it.  Their particular wedding style is described as earthy and bohemian (my fave!).  Nick is most looking forward to seeing Alicia walk down the isle in her beautiful wedding gown!  Alicia is most excited about the ceremony and the “you may kiss the bride” moment!  Ahhhh, I can’t wait for all of this myself.

After the wedding Nick and Alicia are excited to sharing the same last name, enjoy their honeymoon getaway as husband and wife, and relive their day time and time again through the photographs I capture for them!  Nick and Alicia, I’m so delighted to be a part of your day.  It is an honor and a privilege that I do not take lightly.  I am assuring you that I’m all in and I can not wait to enjoy this day with you through my lens!  Looking forward to it! xoxoxo.
